DAY 1 HERVEY BAY—YEPPOON (LD)
Monday, 26th April 2010: Depart Maryborough at 7.00am and travel north along the Bruce Highway. Enjoy a lunch stop at the Many Peaks Hotel before travelling on through Rockhampton, the ‘Beef Capital’ of Queensland to Yeppoon where we settle in to our resort for the next three nights.

DAY 2 GREAT KEPPEL ISLAND (BLD)
Tuesday, 27th April 2010: After a relaxing breakfast we make our way to Rosslyn Bay for our Coral Lunch Cruise aboard Freedom Fast Cat ferry. Following a half hour journey to Great Keppel Island, you will be served morning tea, followed by a 1 hour tour in a glass bottom boat over the Reef before returning to the ferry for lunch. After lunch enjoy a short tour of Great Keppel Island and arrive back at Rosslyn Bay at 2.30pm. After a short town tour we make our way back to the resort for some free time by the pool.
DAY 3 YEPPOON SIGHTSEEING (BLD)
Wednesday, 28th April 2010: A full day of sightseeing today as we make our way to Nob Creek Pottery for a tour and morning tea. Nob Creek Pottery is a Cottage Industry producing fine pottery in the traditional style and is run by Steve Bishopric and Sue McBurnie, professional potters for over 25 years. Meet the potters, see the workshop and enjoy one of the largest displays of Australian craft work in the country. The gallery features the nationally acclaimed work of Steve and other resident potters, along with 40 exhibitors from throughout Australia.
See fine examples of pottery, hand blown glass, jewellery, woodwork, sculptures and other crafts. Moving on we stop for a picnic lunch at Cooberrie Wildlife Park before being entertained by the Interactive Animal Show. Cooberrie Park is the only Wildlife Sanctuary in Central Queensland that takes care of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife and has more than 350 fascinating native animals, across 70 Species. After our visit, return to the resort to rest and prepare for our special evening of entertainment at the Footlights Theatre Restaurant.
DAY 4 YEPPOON—HERVEY BAY (LD)
Thursday, 29th April 2010: After a final leisurely breakfast farewell our hosts and make our way to Emu Park for a photo stop at the Singing Ship. Continue on to Rockhampton and then south on the Bruce Highway to Calliope for our morning break, then on to Gin Gin for lunch at the Gin Gin Hotel before embarking on the final leg of our journey to arrive in Maryborough mid afternoon.
